NOTES AND USER INSTRUCTIONS

This presentation has been designed for ease of use. The following instructions will assist you in using the CD in a classroom setting.

To run the slide show, go to “View” and choose “Slide Show”. To access the image credits and additional information, go to “View” and choose “Note Pages”. On a computer, the Notes are best viewed at 150% enlargement. All of the files on the CD can be copied to your local hard drive, as this may optimize system performance.

At the end of each section there are two classroom discussion questions: one is fact related; the other is more open-ended. At the conclusion of the presentation you will find extension questions.

Teachers are invited to adapt the presentation to their classroom needs by either adding or removing slides.
